I’m new to the province and don’t have a family doctor so I used this clinic. For the first time in my life I was met with a doctor that was incredibly patronizing and unprofessional. He spent the 30 second appointment with one hand on the door handle and refused to prescribe me (a 28 year old woman) birth control until I’d had an “on island” pap. So bizarre! I called to ask the name of the “doctor” and was met with rude pharmacy staff who informed me that the clinic doesn’t have a public line. Never again!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I didn't even have time to get the name of the doctor I saw because he was such an ignorant SOB I had to walk out. Do not ever go here! I will be returning tomorrow to find his name and making an official complaint to The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Prince Edward Island. Keep your personal feelings about a patient's life choices to yourself and not belittle them.

Came In half an hour early before opening and said they were full and told me to come back at 5pm. The receptionist was also extremely rude would not recommend this clinic to anyone!

Three total visits. The first was fine although he looked at me for maybe 2 minutes, stomach ulcer, got meds. $75 from their pharmacy (pharmacy staff was EXCELLENT). However, my symptoms only got worse. Upon returning, a different doctor was in, Dr Reid, who told me the meds I was on oftenhad this issue, who instead wrote me different prescription for $20 that did the trick. Upon returning as I needed a form to get signed to return to work (was off due to first meds) and waiting TWO HOURS, I was told this doctor will npt sign forms. Call before you go, if its not Dr Reid dont bother, the other goon is useless.

The hours have nothing to do with anything. I showed up at 4:40 and got the last number for their 5:00 open. If you show up at 5, you're too late. I didn't get seen until 7:30 despite it having a 6:30 close. They told one guy he had to be back by 7 if he was going to wander out, so they know they go that late. I had paced my meals and pain medications based on the assumption I would be out by 6:30. I strongly suggest visiting the ER Wait Times website before going here. At nearly a 3 hour wait, there's a chance I would have been better off going to the QEH.
